Twiddle hands: Sapphire
Twiddle/fiddle hands are the ultimate stress or fidget aid. They are ideal for anybody who needs to fidget to keep calm or focussed and are often used by hospitals for Altzheimer or dementia patients. They are also ideal fidgets for some children with special needs. They can also be used as hand-warmers by people who don’t like to admit that they fidget!
The name reflects the size of the user’s hands. Twiddle hands are for adults, fiddle hands are for children or adults with small hands.
Each twiddle/fiddle hands will have a selection of textures depending on the yarn available. These may be inside as well as on the outside of the product.
Sapphire has been created using tunisian crochet. It has a variety of stitches, including popcorn (blobs), twisted strands and loops, crocheted flowers and buttons.
